About Klinik Pergigian Genting

Klinik Pergigian Genting is a family-run dental clinic on Jalan Genting Kelang in Setapak. Many of our patients first came as children and now bring their own.

A family clinic, in both senses

The clinic is family-run, and most of our patients come as families. It is common for us to see three generations from the same household - a grandparent for a denture reline, a parent for scaling, a child for a first check-up.

That continuity is the difference between a clinic that knows your history and one that reads it off a screen. We know which patients are nervous, who had a difficult extraction years ago, and which child needs a slower first appointment.

The same dentist, every visit

Dr Ashveen carries out most of the treatment here and sees patients himself. You are not passed between a rotating list of locums. Dr Reshnu Suri attends for complex surgical cases.

This matters most on long treatments. Braces run eighteen months or more, and being seen by the same dentist throughout means nobody has to re-learn your case at each adjustment.

How we work

We're not here to sell you dentistry. We're here to tell you what we find, what your options are, and let you decide.

You know the cost before we start. We publish our starting prices and give you the full cost of your treatment at the consultation, before any work begins. No treatment starts on the basis of "we will see how it goes".

We explain what we find, in plain language. Not the clinical shorthand, and not a list of treatments to approve. What is happening, what the options are, and what each involves.

We tell you when nothing needs doing. Not every finding needs immediate treatment. Where watching and reviewing is reasonable, we say so, and we tell you what would change that.

No pressure on the day. You can take a treatment plan home and think about it. That is a normal thing to do, and it costs nothing.

Nervous patients

A significant number of our patients had not seen a dentist in years before coming in, usually because of a bad experience somewhere else.

If that is you, say so when you book. We will explain each step before it happens, stop when you ask, and not lecture you about the gap since your last visit.

Languages

Between the dentists and our nursing team, we can hold a full consultation in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Tamil or Hindi - including explaining a diagnosis, the options and the costs, not just the greeting.

Where we are

Klinik Pergigian Genting is at 217A, Jalan Genting Kelang, Setapak, 53300 Kuala Lumpur, on the same road as the TAR UMT campus. Open Monday to Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Walk-in patients are welcome, and we are currently accepting new patients.
